Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 9 amβ3 pm. It is closed on Monday. Pasadena is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Pasadena is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This is such a great spot in old town for delicious sandwiches, coffee and beautiful cheese boards. We tried their brisket breakfast sandwich, caprese and fat piggy and they were all amazing - crisp bread, fresh ingredients and filling. The Vietnamese coffee, cafe de olla and cappuccino all hit the spot as well. Itβs a small unassuming storefront but there is lots of seating inside. The staff are friendly and there is such a cozy vibe. It is amazing how they are community oriented and support local businesses as well as provide a space for the community to meet. Come try out their delicious food and support! We will definitely be back!

I knew I was in good hands when I entered and heard their baristas singing βPink Pony Clubβ at the top of their lungs! The energy was great and exactly what I needed after a killer workout class. I ordered the Two Ladies Avo Toast, which was absolutely delicious! Generous portion of avocado, egg, and pickled red onion on top of a fresh toasted slice of sourdough. However, I was really disappointed with the amount of chocolate drizzle/syrup on the inside of my mocha. The ice literally stuck to the syrup on the inside, making it all clump together. A proper mocha really doesnβt need all that chocolate (or any drizzle for that matter)β had I known, I wouldβve ordered without it. Minus one star for the mocha. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable experience and Iβd totally go back!

While this place is known for their beautiful charcuterie boxes, they're also a solid spot for brunch as well. My wife and I visited right at their opening hours on a weekend and it was such a good experience. It's more of a order then sit down type spot. They have some tables but not too many. Parking here in Pasadena is as usual, mainly just parking in paid garages, metered street parking. My wife and I ordered the Deviled egg stuffed croissant and the Roasted Chick Sandwich to share and the orders came out pretty quickly. There's not much service other than that, staff is friendly which is great to see at least. The croissant is very tasty. However, it's pretty messy to eat as you can't really eat it neatly. The croissant itself is pretty standard, not too tough and the egg is soft which is the best part. 8/10, recommend The Roasted Chick Sandwich on the other hand is a great sandwich. I'd never had mango jam in a sandwich like this so this is a first experience. It's a bit....interesting? It's savory yet a bit sweet so if you're a fan of that type of taste, then I highly recommend this. It's tasty regardless. The chicken mixes surprisingly well with the mango which is nice.

I found them from an IG food review, like many others. So when I went they were out of several menu items because it was such a great review. They ended up making me a build your own breakfast sandwich and it was delicious! I had turkey, eggs and cheese on sourdough bread. That bread was magnificent, so perfect! One of the best sandwiches ever! I went back the following weekend and got the same sandwich but on a flaky, buttery, delicious croissant! Which was equally great! I'm not really down with community seating, which is why I gave atmosphere a 3, but the staff is wonderful, great customer service and genuinely seem happy to work there. My sandwich was a little pricey compared to what I'm used to paying. It was almost $17, I usually pay between $10 and $13.

This place is community focused. So letβs see if theyβre pretty good eh or ew. Vibes are cozy, everyone here is super nice, and they had a bunch of fun treats and yummy looking menu items but I ended up getting their truffle parm chips, Cali chicken salad wrap, and browned butter banana bread to try. The Truffle chips were well salted, had plenty of pungenty fragrant truffley flaves and were amazingly crunchy. I added creamy nutty avocado and savory bacon to the salad wrap which had plenty of fresh crunchy nutty lettuce and refreshing cucumbers, crispity crunchy croutons, and a decent amount of shredded savory umami a bit dry rotisserie tasting chicken all in a decently chewy wrap. Tasted pretty light, fresh, and healthy. And the browned butter banana bread. MNM. Buttery, moist, fluffy, soft, perfectly sweet, with plenty of bananay flaves and some crunchy walnuts. Pure deliciousity. Overall this place is lowkey pretty good. Truffle parm chips $4 Cali chicken wrap $15 +avocado +$2 +bacon +$3 Banana bread $6
